At 40 Years old my wife and I decided (God was calling) that maybe we should find a better way for our son, so we tried a few churches, some services were straight out of 1920 to well… some strange ways of thinking. But we settled on a Baptist church about 5 miles away. I made a public confession of faith 11-18-2001, and was baptized on 11-25-2001. 

I was reading things in the bible that I was not seeing in real everyday life, but Jesus said in Mark 9:23  "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Jesus also says "Do not be afraid; only believe." "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."  “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will” Do stuff I wasn’t seeing! So my wife and I pressed into God, we started to seek him more deeply. By going to places and listening to people who signs and wonders were following and wondering why that was? It seems to have something to do with Believing.  As my wife and I continued to “press in” we started to see amazing things and answered prayer. 

And then in 2008 my business was in a mess. God had told me to start this business, so I did not understand why I was going out of business. I was at an Emmaus weekend when God got my attention.  One thing lead to another, and I found myself going to a Power and Love Conference in Virginia Beach. God spoke to me through Bob Hazlett as he prophesied over me.  It was amazing as he said things only God knew. THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING.  They recorded it on DVD, and I have watched it many, many, many times. God cares about the smallest details in our lives. That day I learned God cares about ME. What A day! But God was not done with me. Later that night my brother-in-law and I were walking in the mall looking for people to pray for. This was an exercise in getting out of your comfort zone because that’s where God will bless us.  We saw some of the people from the conference, so we went down to talk with them.  Rudolph (who came from Switzerland just for this conference) noticed I was walking with a limp, and I told him about my messed up back and leg.  He prayed over me and the short leg grew past the long leg, and the long leg grew out to meet it.  Now I’m 2” taller. That made it very hard to sleep that night, you know being so much taller. :)  

In 2010 I had a vision in the shower, it was a picture of Kaye and I, and we were in front of a small white church. We were posing for a picture. I knew exactly what it meant and who it was from.  I yelled NO!  God had called me to be a pastor and I was quite distressed.  I’m much better now.  Then about 2 weeks later a friend in my Sunday school class told me with tears in her eyes about a dream she had about me.  It was a picture of the little white church with so many details, I knew it was my vision. Well a couple of months later a friend of ours named Lydia was in from Maryland, and while cooking dinner she began to tell me about how she saw me, and it was the vision I had earlier. So God tells me I am a pastor, and then sent two more people to confirm it (really three because come to find out years later Katie’s daughter had the same dream), and I still have not done anything to that end. About six months later we saw Lydia again.  She drove from Maryland to Pennsylvania, just to ask me what I have done about becoming a pastor. I told her nothing. She said "you know what you're supposed to do, and where you're supposed to go to school", and the minute she said that, I knew it was Charis Bible College. She also said I was holding back blessings for my family by not doing what I knew I should do. Six months after signing up for college and starting the on-line courses, my wife and I got A FREE, first class, 10 day trip to Israel. This is a pretty good field trip for a bible college student. 

God has been very busy with me, and this is just a small sample of all He is doing. We sold our house and moved to Colorado. While in my 2nd year at Charis I had 4 major downloads (touches of God) one of them lasting over 2 ½ hrs. I have prayed for people and witnessed God's healings. I have prayed at weather and watched God change it. I have cast out demons 4 times by the authority we are given in Jesus name, and they left.. I participate in Kairos prison ministry at 2 maximum security prisons in Virginia, and watch hearts of stone turn to hearts of flesh in 4 days. I continue to work with Emmaus on that 4 day program.  God is Good!

I have started Three Hearts Ministry, and a Go Fund Me for the development of our ministry and to help formerly incarcerated men and women once they get out.

I was raised in a non-christian home and have made a lot of mistakes along the way.  God used the birth of my son, Alex, as a tool to get me to take care of business with Him.  I knew something was missing in my life, and no matter what I did, I didn't have peace.  I wanted Alex to have a spiritual foundation which was  something neither I, nor his dad had.  We had to do things different for our son.  So, at the age of 40 I was saved.  The day I surrendered to the Lord was one of the best things I have ever done in my life.  It was the beginning of an incredible journey.

I retired from the postal service after 31 years of service. We had a lovely home, and didn't think we would ever live anywhere else, nor did we consider it.  It's amazing how in a moment, God can completely change how you think about something.  It's like turning a light switch on.  One moment it's dark, then in a split second, there's light.  Amazing!!  So, once God impressed upon us to go to Charis Bible College, we started fixing the house up to sell it.  We actually got to the point where we couldn't wait to get out of that house!  Pretty crazy huh?  God can change the desires of your heart if you are listening and open to His leading.

Our time at Charis Bible College was life changing.  Our only textbook for 2 years was the Bible.  When you sit under the word for that long, the junk starts floating to the top.  Just like if you have a glass of water with dirt on the bottom, if you run water in the glass, eventually it will flush out the debris.  It was very tough at times dealing with all the trash in my past, but through it all, God was with me.  He gave me the revelation of His love for me, and once that happens, EVERYTHING changes.  I was strengthened, set free, and delivered from all the lies the enemy used against me for decades.  I know God has called me to minister to women who are trapped in the deception of the LIAR.  I passionately want all my sisters in Christ to believe what God says about them, and to learn how to tune out the lies of the enemy who only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.  Don't cooperate with him by accepting any lies he whispers in your ear.  Thank you Jesus that no matter what we've done, or where we've been, you love us anyway.  In fact, there's nothing we can do to make Him love us anymore.  What an awesome God we have.  Amen and amen!

We as a people are set free by the Blood of Jesus and the Word of our Testimony. Do not be afraid, only believe!
